TINUBU DIRECTS REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS ON STUDENTS’ LOANS PROCESSESS
As part of his administration’s determination to ease living for Nigerians and make education affordable, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the removal of all restrictions on the students’ loan.
Tinubu also approved provision of buses to the students’ bodies of all universities, polytechnics and colleges of education across the country.
The new approvals were contained in a statement on Monday by the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake.
The President’s approvals trailed expressed public discomfort by students and parents over the harsh realities of fuel subsidy removal on one hand and the recent decision of some federal universities to increase their various fees.
