SHETTIMA SET TO HOST PEBEC TOWN HALL MEETING

Vice President Kassim Shettima is set to host the inaugural meeting of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).

According to the Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, Jumoke Oduwole the town hall meeting has become necessary following the successful completion of the 90-day Regulatory Reform Accelerator Action Plan.

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser, the meeting would serve as a platform where the results of the Accelerator and deepening of the PEBEC’s regulatory reform mandate will be discussed.

Oduwole said all PEBEC members are expected at the event, including heads of over 50 federal government agencies and their reform teams, representatives of the organized private sector and other stakeholders.
