OBASANJO DEMANDS CANCELLATION OF ELECTION RESULTS WHERE BVAS MALFUNCTIONED
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called for the voiding of election results where the BVAS and Servers were manipulated or rendered inactive.
In a statement on Monday evening, Obasanjo said results that were brought outside BVAS and Server were not a true reflection of the will of Nigerians who had made their individual choice, adding that such results must be declared void and inadmissible for election declaration.
Obasanjo said on many occasions in the past, he had not hesitated to point out lacunas in the action of President Muhammadu Buhari and his government.
He added that as far as the election issues were concerned, the President had proved beyond reasonable doubt that he would want to leave a legacy of free, fair, transparent and credible elections.
