Memorial Prayer for Late Saraki Holds Tuesday

Friends, associates, religious leaders, and well-wishers will on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, join the Saraki family for the 11th remembrance prayer for the late patriarch, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki.

A statement by Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, the Press Officer on Local Matters to former President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, noted that the annual prayer session for the late politician will be held at his residence, Ilofa Road, GRA, Ilorin, starting from 7 am.

According to the statement, the prayer will be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammed Bashir Soliu.

Several dignitaries are expected to attend the prayer session.

Late Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki, a medical doctor and notable Nigerian political figure, died on November 14, 2012, at the age of 79.
