Man, 40, jumps into Lagos lagoon
Rescue workers are searching the Lagoon for a man who jumped into the lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos
The man identified by the police as Adekunle Oluseyi John is about 40 years-old from Ondo State

The General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Adesina Tiamiyu said the footage of the man was captured through the camera when he suddenly pulled off his clothes and shoe, while noticing there was no one around him and jumped into the lagoon.
He said the agency immediately activated its emergency response with other stakeholders, including the Lagos State Waterways Authority, Marine Police, Lagos State Ambulance Services and the Nigerian Police from Maroko Division.
“Although the body is missing effort is ongoing to recover it by men of the Marine Police and the Lagos State Waterways Authority.
“They have been combing through the waters for over three hours on the possibility to recover the body with no sign of it in the water now’’ he said
