KWARA FIRE SERVICE SAVES 23 SHOPS FROM INFERNO IN ILORIN.
The Kwara State Fire Service on Monday said it saved 23 shops from a major fire incident in Ilorin, the state capital.
The fire incident occurred at Emir’s shops, opposite Olusola Saraki Market, Ita-Amon Ilorin, West Local Government Area of the state.
According to the fire service spokesman, Hassan Adekunle, the fire brigade got to know of the fire incident through the running call done by one anonymous person living very close to the scene of occurrence.
He added that a power surge caused the fire.
