KWARA COURT JAILS 21-YEAR-OLD MAN FOR THEFT
A 21-year-old-year-old man, Saliu Abdullahi, has on Wednesday been sentenced to one year and three months in jail for theft.
The convict was arrested at Agbara Local government, Niger state by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kaiama Division, Kwara State Command, based on an allegation of Housebreaking and theft by Baba Umar of Pissio extension area, Kaiama.
After the arrest, the suspect, in his statement, confessed that he committed the allegations made against him.
He was, however, given three months imprisonment without any option of a fine for trespass and one year imprisonment without any option of a fine for theft.
