KIDNAPPER ARESSTED IN KWARA STATE
The police in Kwara State have arraigned a suspected kidnapper, Umaru Mohammed, who was arrested while buying food and slippers at Oro in Irepodun LGA.
The suspect was arraigned on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and kidnapping.
The prosecutor, Gbenga Ayeni, told the court that a ransom of N30m was demanded but N400,000 was paid after negotiation. However, the suspect was later arrested at Oro where he went to buy food and slippers.
