GOVERNOR AYADE EXPRESSES WORRY OVER STEALING OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY IN CROSS RIVER

Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade has expressed worry over the incessant stealing of government properties.
He said the state has a very sad story regarding assets remittances, lamenting that state assets have often been taken away because there is no inventory of them.
He made the remark when he swore Udiba Udiba as the state’s Commissioner for Assets Management and Martins Osibe as a Commissioner in the Cross River Civil Service Commission.
He explained that the office of the Commissioner for Assets Management must take responsibility for documenting every single asset that belongs to the state instead of allowing them to be stolen.
