GOVERNOR ABDULRAZAQ COMMENDS KWARA, NIGERIAN ATHLETES IN ACCRA, PLEDGES TO INVEST MORE IN SPORTS.
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, on Sunday in Accra at the ongoing All African Games, AAG, Has commended Nigerian athletes stating that placing second so far in the games demonstrates the formidable Nigerian competitive spirit.
He also stated that the outcome so far and what he has seen so far in Ghana demonstrates why governors in Nigeria must invest more in sports.
According to him, every penny put in sports is worth it.
He spoke privately to newsmen at the volley event in Accra where he came to watch the Nigerian team play.
Few governors in Nigeria have demonstrated a passion for promoting sports like Abdulrazaq.
Speaking further, the governor said that the facilities he has seen so far in Ghana further convinces him to invest more in sports, describing the Ghana sports facilities as impressive.
