Bandits attack Emir of Kaura Namoda,kill eight

At least eight people including three policemen were killed in the convoy of Emir of Kaura Namoda, HRH Sanusi Muhammad Asha following an ambush by suspected bandits along Zaria-Funtua road.
The attack on occured on  Wednesday when the traditional ruler was returning home from Abuja.
it was learnt that the bandits attacked the Toyota Hilux van in the convoy of the Emir and killed the driver, three policemen, senior guard to the Emir and one Dan Amal, who was an uncle to the Emir.
The Emir was a Major in the Nigerian Army before his appointment this year as the Emir of Kaura Namoda.
