ADELEKE CALLS FOR REGIONAL TASK FORCE TO TACKLE CROSS-BORDER CRIMES
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called for the establishment of a regional task force to track and curb cross-border criminality in the South West and other areas under the Command of 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ibadan.
Adeleke stated this on Wednesday while receiving in his office, the General Officer Commanding, 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Valentine Okoro, who led members of his team on a working visit to the governor.
The governor, who called for a symbiotic working relationship between his administration and the GOC, also assured the military team that Osun would remain a home of hospitality where there would be no discrimination.
